Connection between the US Census and Toys

I have written an article concerning the relationship between the US Census and Toy Marketing. If you are in the know, Ive already sent you a copy. In a nut shell my article concludes that:
-That there are more pre teen boys in the US than there are girls. So toy makers need to take that fact into consideration.
- As a whole there are more females than male
- Baby boomer generation has caused two more booms. Expect a new boom within the next 10 years.

Introduction to Toys

Hello WORLD!!! Alas, I have finally made it home to the world of blogs. Thanks to the mighty and knowledgeable H. Pinder, I have found my way. Before I begin my blog let me thank Herb for giving me the knowledge to form a blog: Herb, I love you. Elmo loves you too. So do Barbie, Dora, Diego, Tommy,Angelica, Winnie, andGeoffrey. We all love you. We would not have the opportunity to come to life if it were not for you, so thank you HERB!!!

Next I want to thank Mr. you know who- my toy mentor at the toy company - NOt sure what the rules are for using people's full names, so we will just leave it at that.

Next I want to thank Toys R US, Wal-mart, and Target for providing a place for my loved ones: my toys. I especially want to thank the Toys R Us in Arlington Virginia, around Skyline, the one I went to when I was a kid.

Next I want to thank FOX 5 for showing He-man at 3:oo when I returned home from elementary school (Oakridge Elementary to be exact). I also want to thank the channel that showed JEM, the truly outrageous one.

I also want to thank Kevin Clash, the creator of Elmo, because that was the best book Ive ever read in my whole life and you my friend deserve a Pulitzer for that!! yes yes, lets all go out and get Kevin Clash's Book" the Little Red Furry Monster". I may have misplaced some of the words in the title, but the book is yellow and has Elmo sitting on his shoulder-- I love it.

This blog will ONLY be about toys. Oh yes, let me also thank Mattel. When I was growing up and in college, i used to write to Mattle all the time. And they always sent me either nothing or nothing too encouraging. Thank you for those discouraging letters bebcause it only made me work harder. Maybe Mattel was under different management back then. I fogive Mattel.
Even though I have a degree in Economics from the number 1 public university in the country, you guys were just never interested in me :( :(.

Last of all but not least, I want to thank HASBRO!!! I am thanking HASBRO because even though I always wrote to them as well, they ALWAYS were nice and considerate and always were friendly even though I know they were getting sick of my letters. I love you HASBRO. I LOVE YOU MATTEL.

I also want to thank Kelloggs Pop Tarts because I used to write to them at LEAST once a month between high school and college. And they ALWAYYYYYYSSSSSSSSSSS wrote back and ALWAYSSSSSSSSSS included a coupon that allowed me to go to the store to get a free box of Frosted Strawberry Pop Tarts, back when the boxes were white, and not blue. Kellogg's Pop Tart people, I stayed true to you for a long time, but then the price of Pop Tarts increased and I had to let you go. But I still eat Corn Flakes though-same Kellogg's family, right??

I hope all of you will read my blog weekly. I will write this blog until a toy company catches on and realizes that I could be one of their biggest assets.

Read on my friends, may we all form a great relationship.
